Happy New Year! I had a lovely afternoon with these chicks as we worked on organizing, planning, and setting goals both professionally and personally. An objective of one of my goals is to write more, like, daily, to be exact. So, here I am chronicling 2017. I hope you enjoy, and check back often to see what adventures I find this year. :)

I love finding something educational nearby. I learned about both the St. Marks river and some Civil War history today at Natural Bridge Battlefield State Park.

A weekend trip to Mamma's with a detour-favor on the way home :)

So, I came home from work today and the FWC were down my road... tracking a monkey! We never saw the monkey, but I got a couple pics of its footprints. 🐒

This weekend was full of fun and adventure as I joined a group of my besties for a girl's retreat. One of our activities was rafting down the Chipola river, where I snapped this awesome tree.

I got all arts and craftsy this afternoon. I love this sewing machine!

Today we were in Gainesville for a doctor's appointment and stopped by the Florida Museum of Natural History before meeting my cousin for a delicious bite to eat at Sweet Mel's.
